- 1 c. corn syrup
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 c. small pecan meats
Directions

1Combine first 6 ingredients and stir thoroughly.

2Stir in eggs well, but do not beat.

3Fold in pecans.

4Pour into prepared pie crust.

5Put 9 or 10 pecan halves on top.

6Bake in hot oven (425°) for 10 minutes. Reduce heat (325°) for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.

7Cool completely before cutting.

8Serve plain or with whipped cream.
