  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. light Karo
  • 1/2 c. dark Karo
  • 3 eggs, beaten lightly
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 2 shallow pie shells

Directions

    Cream

    butter

    and corn syrup (Karo).

    Do this by hand, do not use mixer. Add beaten eggs and mix.

    Add vanilla, salt and pecans and

    mix. Pour into 2 pie shells and bake in 325° oven for 45 minutes.
