  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. Karo light syrup
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped (or whole)
  • 1 Pet-Ritz deep pie crust

Directions

    In a large bowl, stir eggs, syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla until well blended.

    Stir in pecans.

    Pour into pie crust.

    Bake in a preheated 350° oven on a preheated baking sheet for 50 to 55 minutes.

    If it is cooking or browning too fast, turn temperature down to 300° and finish cooking until the pie is jelled.
