  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. Karo light or dark corn syrup
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. melted margarine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell (see page 47 for Plain Pastry recipe)

Directions

    In large bowl, stir first 5 ingredients until well blended. Stir in pecans.

    Pour into pie shell.

    Bake in 350° oven for 50 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.

    Cool.

    Serves 8.
