- 1/2 c. pecan halves
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. white Karo syrup
- 1/8 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cream together butter and vanilla.

2Add sugar gradually, creaming well after each addition.

3Add eggs gradually, beating until fluffy.

4Fold in chopped pecans, corn syrup and salt.

5Stir well.

6Turn into 9-inch unbaked pie shell and bake at 450° for 10 minutes.

7Reduce heat to 350° and bake another 30 to 35 minutes or until a knife comes out clean when inserted in center of pie.
