- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1/4 c. butter or oleo
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 c. pecans
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Combine sugar, syrup and butter in a 2-quart saucepan.

2Bring to a boil on high, stirring constantly until butter is melted. Remove from heat.

3Gradually add hot syrup to beaten eggs, stirring constantly.

4Add pecans and cool to lukewarm.

5Add vanilla.

6Pour into pie shell.

7Bake in 350° oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
