- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1/4 c. butter
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 shallow pie crusts
- 3 c. pecans
Directions

1Combine sugar, syrup and butter in 2-quart saucepan; bring to boil.

2Beat eggs; pour over hot syrup and beat while pouring.

3To make a real pecan pie, add about 3 cups of chopped pecans and mix. Add vanilla; pour in crust.

4Bake in 350° oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the crust is browned just right.
