  • 1 c. dark brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. melted butter
  • 1 heaping c. shelled pecans
  • 3 whole eggs, beaten
  • dash of vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 c. white corn syrup
  • 1 (9-inch) pie shell

Directions

    Mix all ingredients well; pour into an unbaked pie shell (9-inches) and bake in a 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes.

    Cool and top with whip cream or ice cream, if desired.
