- 2 lb. pecans
- 1 (16 oz.) bottle dark Karo syrup
- 2 or more oz. butter
- 6 oz. baking chocolate
- 6 beaten eggs
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 lb. dark brown sugar
Directions

1Melt butter in heavy 2-quart saucepan on very low heat.

2Add chocolate; stir until melted off heat.

3Add Karo syrup and brown sugar; stir until smooth.

4Add eggs; mix until all lumps dissolve. Fill crust or pan with pecans.

5Add mixture almost to overflowing.

6Bake at 350° for about 50 minutes.
