  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

    Boil together syrup and sugar, then add eggs, salt, vanilla, butter and pecans.

    Pour into pie shell.

    Bake at 400° for 30 minutes, then 300° for 15 minutes.
