  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1/4 c. melted margarine
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 9-inch unbaked pastry shell

    In mixer bowl, slightly beat eggs and add first five ingredients.

    Blend well.

    Add pecans and pour into shell.

    Bake at 400° for 10 minutes, then lower temperature to 350° and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
