- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. white Karo syrup
- 1/4 c. dark Karo syrup
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. broken pecan pieces
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- dash of salt
- 1 unbaked pie shell
Directions

1Cream butter; add sugar and flour gradually.

2Cream until fluffy.

3(Important to cream ingredients thoroughly.)

4Add both syrups.

5Beat well.

6Add salt.

7Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each egg.

8Add vanilla.

9Spread pecans over bottom of pie shell.

10Pour mixture over pecans.

11Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.

12Lower heat to 325° and bake for 50 minutes or until set.

13(May need to adjust oven temperature so pie does not burn.)
