- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 2 c. flour
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 c. pecans or walnuts, finely chopped
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar until creamy.

2Add vanilla and water; beat well.

3Gradually add flour and salt until well blended.

4Add pecans or walnuts; mix well.

5On greased (lightly) cookie sheet, roll dough into walnut size balls; prick 2 to 3 times for 12 to 15 minutes.

6Let cookies cool for 1 minute, then remove from cookie sheet and roll in powdered sugar.

7Let cool.

8Makes about 5 dozen.
