  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c. sifted flour
  • 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • dash of salt
  • 2/3 c. chopped pecans, divided
  • 1/2 c. (1 stick) margarine plus 1 Tbsp. margarine, softened and divided

Directions

    In medium sized bowl, combine cream cheese, 1 stick margarine and flour.

    Mix until crumbly.

    Form dough into ball.

    Cover and chill 1 hour.
