Ingredients

  • 4 c. rice
  • 1 c. minced chicken breast
  • 1 c. minced sirloin steak
  • 1 c. minced pork steak
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. salt
  • 1 teaspoon curry
  • 6 c. water, add in more if needed
  • Dash of red pepper
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 onions
  • Dash of thyme
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 lg. tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp. raisins

Directions

    Add in sugar to meat and brown; add in 1 c. water and all seasonings.

    Cover and simmer till meat is tender.

    Add in water when necessary to prevent meat from burning.

    Add in 4 c. water.

    Add in rice and stir well.

    Add in salt.

    Cook till rice is soft.

    Stir in butter.
