  • 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. light cream
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. nuts

Directions

    Mix sugars, cream, milk and butter in saucepan.

    Boil to soft stage or 238°, stirring only if needed.

    Remove from heat.

    Cool to lukewarm (110°) without stirring.

    Add vanilla.

    Beat vigorously until fudge thickens and loses gloss.

    Add nuts. Spread in buttered 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.

    Score; cut when firm.
