  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 c. crushed hot peppers
  • 1 bottle Certo
  • 1/2 bottle red food coloring
  • 6 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. vinegar

Directions

    Bring to a boil the sugar and vinegar.

    After sugar is dissolved, add the chopped green pepper and the hot peppers and boil for 5 minutes more.

    Add 1 bottle of Certo and a 1/2 bottle of red food coloring.

    Pour into sterilized jars.
