- 1 lb. beef chuck or round
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 c. green peppers
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. onion
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. mushrooms
Directions

1Cut meat into strips.

2Add soy sauce, toss and set aside, while preparing vegetables.

3Heat oil in a large frying pan or wok.

4Add beef and toss until browned.

5Cover and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes over low heat.

6Turn heat up and add vegetables.

7Toss until vegetables are crisp.

8Mix cornstarch with water and add to pan, cooking until thickened.

9Serve over rice.

10Makes 2 servings.
