- 1 lb. round steak
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- 1 c. green onion
- 1 c. green or red peppers
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. water
- 1 can chopped whole tomatoes
Directions

1Cut beef in thin strips.

2If beef is partially frozen, it is easier to cut.

3Combine soy sauce, garlic and ginger.

4Add beef. Toss and set aside.

5Heat oil in large frying pan or wok.

6Add beef and cook over high heat until browned.

7If not tender, simmer for 30 to 40 minutes over low heat.

8Add vegetables and cook until tender-crisp, about 10 minutes.

9Mix cornstarch with water.

10Add to mixture; stir until thickened.

11Add tomatoes and heat through. Serve over rice.
