Ingredients
- 1 lb. round steak, cut in 1/8-inch strips
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 c. drained canned tomatoes
- 2 tsp. soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
- pepper
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 cube bouillon
- 1/4 c. water
Directions

1Heat oil in skillet and add steak, onion and garlic.

2Cook until meat is brown but not crisp.

3Add green pepper and bouillon. Cover and simmer 10 minutes.

4Add tomatoes and simmer 5 minutes. Mix cornstarch, water and soy sauce.

5Stir into meat mixture.

6Cook until thickened.

7Add salt and pepper to taste.

8Serve on rice or chow mein noodles.
