Ingredients
- 2 lb. round steak, cut in thin strips
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 4 to 5 Tbsp. Kikkoman soy sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. water
- 1 c. green pepper, cut in 1-inch pieces
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Directions

1Brown beef in hot oil; add garlic and cook a few minutes.

2Add soy sauce, salt, onion and 1 1/2 cups water.

3Cook until meat is tender, approximately 30 to 35 minutes.

4Add green pepper and cook ten minutes longer.

5Blend cornstarch with 1/2 cup water.

6Stir into meat and allow to thicken.

7Serve over hot rice.
