- 1 to 2 lb. round steak, sliced in thin strips
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 3 green peppers, chopped
- 1 1/4 c. beef broth
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
Directions

1Cook beef in skillet over medium heat in hot oil until brown. Remove beef.

2Add onion, celery, garlic, peppers and broth. Simmer for 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender-crisp.

3Mix cornstarch and soy sauce.

4Stir into vegetables.

5Cook and stir until mixture thickens.

6Add beef and heat through.

7Serve over hot rice.
