  • 2 loaves frozen bread dough
  • 1/2 lb. pepperoni, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 lb. Provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/8 to 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
  • parsley

Directions

    Thaw bread approximately 5 to 6 hours.

    Grease loaves and baking sheet with shortening.

    Roll bread to rectangle approximately 8 x 12-inch.

    Brush with egg mixture.

    Cover with layer of pepperoni, then layer of cheese.

    Roll like jelly roll, brushing with egg after each roll.

    Pinch edges and seams closed. Brush with egg.

    Bake at 350° for approximately 45 minutes.
