- 1 qt. peppers
- 1/2 c. Crisco oil (liquid)
- oregano, to taste
- garlic salt, to taste
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 3 cloves garlic, to taste
Directions

1Let most peppers turn red in garden, can use green too.

2Pick peppers and place on grill.

3Let cook until done.

4Take pepper off grill.

5Put in roaster with lid to keep warm.

6Take out and let cool.

7Peel off skin and split into 3 or 4 slices.

8Pack into canning jars.

9No water, they make their own juice.

10Cold pack in roaster filled in water over jars.

11Let cook 15 minutes or so once water and peppers start to boil.

12Rinse peppers and strain (checking for skins).

13Mix mixture over peppers.

14Stir; taste. Keep in fridge.
