Ingredients

  • 2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate or 1/3 c. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Directions

    Melt chocolate thoroughly; cream butter and sugar.

    Add eggs and beat well.

    Blend in chocolate (melted) or cocoa, vanilla and flour.

    Add nuts into batter or sprinkle on top after batter is poured in pan.

    Pour batter into greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan. Bake at 325° for 30 to 35 minutes.

    Frost with Fudge Frosting and sprinkle with nuts, if desired.
