  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmsan cheese
  • 3/4 to 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 packages (16 ounces) linguine
  • 1/2 lb thinly sliced deli ham or proscuitto, chopped

Directions

    Cook linguine according to package directions.

    Add peas during the last 3 minutes.

    In the meantime, in a large skillet, saute the garlic, Italian seasoning and pepper in oil for 1 minute or until garlic is tender.

    Stir in proscuitto or deli ham.

    Drain linguine; add to skillet and toss to coat.

    Sprinkle with cheese.
