- 2 c. persimmon pulp
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 2 eggs
- 3 c. milk
- 1 tsp. soda
- 4 c. hot water
- 1/3 c. margarine, melted
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ginger
Directions

1Cream the sugar and margarine.

2Add eggs and persimmon pulp. Mix well. Dissolve soda in hot water and add to mixture. Add flour, then milk. Add vanilla, pinch of salt and spices (if desired).

3Bake at 275° for 1 hour and 45 minutes in a 9
