  • 12 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • confectioners' sugar

Directions

    Beat brown sugar and butter with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.

    Add remaining ingredients, except confectioners sugar, to flour and sift.

    Gradually add to butter mixture, mixing well, Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.

    Peheat oven to 375F Shape teaspoonfuls of dough into ovals and place 1-inch apart on ungreased baking sheets.

    Cool on baking sheets 1 minute.

    Remove to wire racks; sprinkle confectioners sugar over warm cookies.
