- 2 cans beets
- 2 doz. hard-boiled eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. wine vinegar
- 1 c. or less water
- dash of salt
Directions

1Put sugar, vinegar, water and salt in a saucepan.

2Bring to a boil for 5 minutes.

3Now, add just the beet juice and boil for 2 more minutes.

4Put shelled eggs in container and pour boiled mixture over.

5Add beets.

6Ready to eat next day.

7(When hard-boiling eggs, add salt to the water.

8This makes the shells come off easier.)
