- fresh okra
- dill seed
- hot red pepper
- hot green pepper
- garlic cloves
- 1 qt. white vinegar
- 1/2 c. pure or uniodized salt
- 1 c. water
Directions

1Place 1/2 teaspoon dill seed in bottom of pint jar, approximately 4 pints.

2Wash okra and pack as tightly as possible in jars, being careful not to bruise.

3Add 1/2 teaspoon dill seed, 1 pod red and green peppers and 1 clove garlic to each jar.

4Bring vinegar, water and salt to a boil. Pour hot mixture over okra; seal and allow to stand 2 weeks.

5Serve icy cold.
