Pickled Peaches

  • 1 gal. hard ripe peaches
  • 6 c. sugar
  • 2 or 3 sticks cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. whole cloves
  • 2 c. water
  • 3 c. vinegar

Directions

    Peel peaches and leave whole.

    Bring to boil the sugar, cinnamon, cloves, water and vinegar.

    Boil 2 or 3 minutes; add the peaches and cook a few minutes until the peaches are tender.

    Put peaches in sterilized jars.

    Fill with the liquid and seal.
