- firm cling peaches
- 1 pt. vinegar
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 1 tsp. whole cloves
Directions

1Peel peaches using as many as syrup will cover.

2Make syrup by mixing vinegar, sugar, cinnamon and cloves, boiling until rather thick.

3Add peeled peaches, one at a time.

4Cook until tender, not mushy.

5Remove fruit from syrup and place in sterilized jars.

6Boil syrup until thick; pour over peaches filling jars to top seal.
