- 8 c. sliced squash
- 2 c. sliced onion
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. diced bell pepper
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. each: celery and mustard seed
Directions

1Put squash and onions in salt water and cover 1 or 2 hours. Combine pepper, vinegar, sugar and seed; bring to a boil.

2Drain water from squash and put into vinegar mixture.

3Bring to a boil again, then put in jars and seal.
