  • 4 c. water
  • 1 c. barrel vinegar (90-grain)
  • 6 Tbsp. canning salt
  • dill
  • grape leaves
  • garlic

Directions

    Wash cucumbers.

    Bring water, vinegar and salt to a boil.

    Add cucumbers and let soak 50 minutes.
  4. 4
    Put dill and 2 grape leaves in bottom of each jar to be used.
  5. 5
    (Add a small piece of garlic if desired.)

    Pack cucumbers in jars tightly.
  7. 7
    Now reheat the liquid. Pour over the cucumbers and seal.
