- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 3/4 c. vermicelli
- 1 c. long grain rice
- 2 cans chicken broth (14 fluid oz. size)
- 1 Knorr chicken bouillon
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Melt butter in 3-quart size pot.

2Add vermicelli (crushed into 3/4-inch size) and brown, stirring constantly, until near burning point.

3Add rice; stir.

4Add chicken broth, chicken bouillon, salt and pepper.

5Stir well.

6Cover and cook until all broth has been absorbed.

7Stir occasionally.

8Cook over low heat, about 20 minutes.

9Turn heat off and let sit about 10 minutes.

10Serves 6. Good with chicken or fish.
