Pineapple Bread Pudding

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 5 slices bread (white, old), cubed
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 1 stick butter or margarine

    Mix eggs and sugar.

    Add milk and pineapple (including juice or syrup).

    Add 3 slices of the cubed bread, mixing gently.

    Pour in buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole and top with remaining 2 slices of cubed bread.

    Pour the melted butter on top and bake at 375° for about 45 minutes.
