- 2 c. vegetable shortening
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 small can crushed pineapple and juice
- 3 c. plain flour
- dash of salt
Directions

1Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.

2Add flour and salt gradually.

3Stir in vanilla and crushed pineapple.

4Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour or until done at 350°.

5Spread glaze over warm cake.
