  • 2 c. vegetable shortening
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple and juice
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • dash of salt

Directions

    Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.

    Add flour and salt gradually.

    Stir in vanilla and crushed pineapple.

    Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour or until done at 350°.

    Spread glaze over warm cake.
