Pineapple Raisin Drops

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. Spry shortening
  • 1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 c. crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Cream shortening and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add vanilla, beaten egg, raisins and pineapple.

    Mix all dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture.

    Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet.

    Bake at 375° for 15 minutes. Makes 40 cookies.
