Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

- 1/2 lb. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 white cake mix
- small pineapple slices
- maraschino cherry halves
Directions

1Melt together brown sugar and margarine.

2Pour glaze in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.

3Arrange small pineapple slices next in the bottom of the pan.

4Place maraschino cherry half in each center of pineapple.

5Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour cake over pineapple glaze.

6Bake at 375° for 30 minutes. Check.

7Turn pan upside-down on cookie sheet.

8If pineapple sticks to pan when turned upside-down, lay back on cake where they should be.
