  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. lukewarm water
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Put dry yeast in water and add sugar.

    Stir until yeast is dissolved.

    Add the flour and salt; mix well.

    Divide dough into 2 parts.

    Make into 18 or 20 equal sized balls and roll to 5-inches in diameter.

    Place on cookie sheet and let rise until puffy. Bake at 500° for about 5 minutes, until puffed, but not too brown. Good with dips or stuffing for sandwiches.
