Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tsp. active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 c. warm water (110~ to 115~)
- 3 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. olive oil
Directions

1In large bowl dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.

2Allow yeast to proof 10 minutes or until it's foamy.

3Add remaining 1 cup warm water, combining well with yeast.

4Add 3 cups flour and salt.

5Mix dough. Add remaining flour as needed to make a dough that holds together.

6Place dough on floured surface and knead for 10 minutes or until dough is soft and not sticky.

7Grease a large bowl with the olive oil.

8Put dough in bowl and turn a few times to coat with oil.

9Cover bowl tightly with plastic wrap and let rise for 2 hours in warm place.
