- 1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tbsp anise or vanilla extract
Directions

1Preheat Pizzelle press while preparing the batter

2Place flour and baking powder in a small bowl and then set aside.

3Place eggs and sugar in a medium size bowl.

4Mix on medium speed for 1 minute, until thickened.

5On low speed, add the melted butter and vanilla in a steady stream.

6Mix until combined, about 15 seconds.

7Add the flour mixture and mix until just combined about 10 -15 seconds.

8Do not overmix.

9Place 1 1/2 - 2 teaspoons of mixture onto patterned grid, lock lid.

10Let cook 1 - 2 minutes depending on your Pizzelle Press.

11When done, remove carefully with a spatula and place on wire rack to cool.

12Sprinkle with confectioner sugar.

13Makes 36 - 40 cookies on a 4 inch patterned grid.
