Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 5 sage leaves chopped
- 6 whole plums seeds removed and finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Directions

1Heat oil in a nonstick sauce pan.

2Add cumin seeds and fennel seeds.

3When the seeds start to flutter add sage leaves.

4Immediately add chopped plums.

5Mix well and cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.

6Add sugar and mix well with a spatula. Again cover and cook for until the plums leaves its water.

7Add the salt, black salt and cayenne pepper and mix well.

8Cover and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

9Turn off the flame and let it cool for a while.

10Grind the chutney coarsely in a grinder/food processor.

11Serve at room temperature with your favorite snacks.
