  • 4 1/2 cup seeded and chopped Plums
  • 6 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 envelope Dry Pectin
  • 1/2 tbsp Unsalted Butter

Directions

    Put prepared Plums in pot with water and bring to rolling boil
  2. 2
    Boil for 20 minutes
  3. 3
    Add sugar, lemon juice, butter and pectin
  4. 4
    Bring to full rolling boil again stirring often
  5. 5
    Boil for five minutes do spoon on ice test to make sure it will set if not boil longer

    Put in sterilized 1/2 pint jelly jars and install lids and rings
  7. 7
    Put in water bath canner and boil for 10 minutes in water
  8. 8
    Take jars out of canner and let cool on counter test after cool to make sure jars sealed by pressing on tops of lids
