  • 1 c. warm water
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. salt

    Mix yeast and warm water.

    Add shortening, sugar and egg.

    Mix well.

    Add flour and salt mixture.

    Mix well.

    Place in covered bowl.

    Refrigerate at least 8 hours.

    Make out and let rise about 2 hours.

    Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
