- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 chopped onion
- 16 oz. drained sauerkraut (Bavarian style)
- 2 handfuls egg noodles
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 3 Tbsp. milk
- shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Brown ground beef with chopped onion.

2Drain well.

3Layer 1/2 in casserole dish.

4Top with drained sauerkraut.

5Top with other half of meat and onion.

6Sprinkle egg noodles on top (uncooked). Combine soups and milk and spread over mixture.

7Cover and cook in 350° oven for 1/2 hour.

8Uncover.

9Sprinkle with 1/2 to 3/4 cup shredded cheese and cook for another 1/2 hour.
