- 5 qt. popped corn
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 1 tsp. vinegar
Directions

1Place popped corn in large dishpan that has been buttered on bottom.

2Boil sugar, syrup, salt and water until small amount forms a hard ball when dropped into cold water.

3Add vinegar and vanilla.

4Pour slowly over popped corn, stirring corn with long handled spoon to coat corn evenly.

5Butter your hands and shape into size balls desired.

6Let balls stand until brittle.
