- 3 eggs
- 1 C unsifted flour
- 1 C milk
- 3 Tbsp melted margarine
- 1/2 tsp salt
Directions

1In small deep mixing bowl, beat eggs slightly.

2Add flour, milk, melted margarine and salt. Beat just until blended: do not overbeat.

3Pour batter into 8 to 12 well greased muffin cups.

4Bake in moderate oven (375°) for 50 minutes or until puffed up and golden brown.

5Makes 8 to 12 popovers.

6Cool slightly. Cut open and serve with butter or margarine.
