Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 c. uncooked rice
- 1/4 c. milk or water
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. celery salt
- 1/8 tsp. garlic salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Directions

1Mix beef, rice, milk, onion and seasonings.

2Form into 4 balls.

3Fry in melted shortening, turning so as to brown lightly, but not get crusty.

4Add sauces and water.

5Mix well.

6Cover; simmer 45 minutes over low heat.

7Add a small amount of water, if liquid cooks down too much.

8Makes 2 servings.
