- 3 onions, quartered
- 2 tsp. garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. white pepper
- 1/2 c. white wine
- 2 c. water
- 1/3 c. lite soy sauce
- 3 star anise or 1/4 tsp. anise
Directions

1Trim excess fat.

2Place meat and onions in a 3 to 4-quart casserole.

3Mix all ingredients and pour over top. Bake 3 hours at 300°.
